Where I went and when I was there.

Below is a list of cities I visited.  In most cases, I remained in or very near the city listed and considered the city my "base."  In other cases, I traveled in the region surrounding the city.  For example, my Taipei destination began with 8 days in Taipei and its surrounding suburbs, then expanded to a 5 day tour of the island nation which included stays at Sun Moon Lake and in Kaohsiung and Hualien.  I stopped briefly in Nantou, Puli, Maopitou, Oluanpi, Kenting Park and Taroko Gorge.  I returned to Taipei for one additional night, then departed for Hong Kong.
