Interesting places outside London included Oxford, Avebury, Salisbury and Bath.

Thanks to the generosity of Daffyd Daniel, I was able to see parts of the English coutryside that might otherwise have escaped me.  I met "Dav" during my mountain trek near Chiang Mai, Thailand, earlier in my World Tour.  He promised that when I made it to England he would show me his alma mater, Oxford, and some other great places.
